Day 1. Nukus-Muynak-Aral Sea Yurt Camp
Early departure from the hotel in Nukus, along the way discover the Ustyurt Plateau and Aral Sea life. Pass through Khojeyli and Kungrad districts, once thriving Silk Road trading centers. Upon reaching Moynak town, visit the Cemetery of Ships, explore the local museum, and gain insights into Moynak's past through a short documentary film. Enjoy lunch at a guesthouse. Drive to the Aral Sea yurt camp, stopping at the Nomads cemetery for scenic canyon photos. Arrive at the Aral Sea, spend some time at the shore and return to the yurt camp for dinner. Overnight at the yurt camp. Night shooting of countless stars and the Milky Way in the sky.
Day 2. Yurt Camp-Plateau Ustyurt-Lake Sudoche-Nukus
Wake up early to capture the sunrise over the sea. After breakfast, drive to Kurgancha Kala, a hidden 13th-century caravanserai in the Usturt Plateau hills. Continue to the settlement of "Komsomolsk" on the plateau, where you can see the abandoned airport of the Gas Compression Station, serving as an emergency landing spot. Take pictures of camels and horses, taste fresh camel milk, and proceed to Lake Sudochie. Stop at the ancient Lighthouse hill and explore the abandoned settlement of Russian and Polish people, witnessing ruins of a hospital, cane houses, and an ancient Fish Factory. Engage with local fisherman and observe diverse bird species. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Kungrad. Later, visit the XIV-century architectural complex "Mizdakhan," featuring landmarks like Halifa Erejep mausoleum (XII c), Nazlumhan suluw (XII-XIVcc), Shamun Nabi (XIX c), and Gaur Kala fortress (VI B.C.-IX A.D.). Return to Nukus around 5pm.
